General Membership Meeting, Saturday, Sept. 26th, 2009 - 2:00 pm

UPCOMING GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETINGS:

You are always invited to attend the Monthly General Membership Meetings 2:00-4:00 pm at the Asian Cultural Center every last Saturday of the month: September 26th, October 31st, and November 28th, 2009.

KARILAGAN Folkloric Group

Karilagan will be performing on Friday, September 25th for a birthday celebration at the Bayshore Club; Saturday, September 26th at the Guadalupe Church for Feast, and October 10th at the Asian Center for Asian Winter Festival. Practice days are: Thursday from 6:30-9 pm and Saturdays from 2pm to 6 pm. Check your email for practice schedules which is good through January 2010. ANNUAL PICNIC – INDEPENDENCE DAY PICNIC - JUNE 13TH, SATURDAY

We had a great Independence Day picnic at the Centennial/Pena Park in Muldoon on Saturday, June 13th THANK YOU to Chairperson - Gladys and Co-chair - Nez. We also want to say THANK YOU!! to all members, families and friends. We could not have done it without all of you. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the event with lots of games, giveaways and door prizes. See you again next year.

TAGALOG CLASS

Classes are going to start on Saturday, October 3rd, at 2 pm and every Saturday thereafter at the Asian Center. Thank you to Ms. Aurora Hovland for volunteering to teach the class. If you are interested in signing up for the class, please call any of the above listed officers.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Christmas party will be held on Saturday, December 12th, 2009 at the Asian Cultural Center. There will be more information on the next month’s newsletter.
