You are always invited to attend the Monthly General Membership Meetings 2:00-4:00 pm at the Asian Cultural Center every last Saturday of the month: February 28th, April 25th, May 30th, September 26th, October 31st, November 28th, 2009.
KARILAGAN Folkloric Group
Members have been practicing. Adults practice every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Kids and Youth have practice every Friday and Saturday. Youth will be performing at the West High School for their Multi Cultural Event, Thursday, Feburary 19th. Another performance will be on February 28th at the Museum for the Meet the World event. 44TH ANNUAL FOUNDER’S DAY Banquet and Ball
The 2009 Founder’s Day Banquet and Ball will be held at the Sheraton Hotel on Saturday, March 28, 2009. Event chairperson is Letty Tadina (830-4195) and co-chair is Rina Mangrobang (360-0549).
Banquet dinner tickets – tables or seats will be reserved and assigned upon receipt of payment.
NOTE: If you want front row seating, buy your tickets early.
ANNUAL PICNIC – INDEPENDENCE DAY PICNIC - JUNE 13TH, SATURDAY
This year’s annual picnic will be held on June 13th, Saturday, from 11-6 pm at the Centennial/Pena Park in Muldoon. There will be more information on next month’s newsletter.
TAGALOG CLASS

EDUCATIONAL GRANT

FILIPINO DISPLAY CASE
We are planning to update the items in our display case at the Asian Cultural Center. We have not changed or upgraded our display in a long time. If you wish to donate Filipino items for the display, please call Letty at 830-4195. If you donate an item – your name will be noted on the item.
